- No Financial Responsibility – We are not involved in payment transactions between users. SpaceBook.ca will not refund, reimburse, or settle disputes regarding money, rental agreements, or damages.
- No Guarantees – We make no promises that listings are accurate, that spaces exist, or that other users will act in good faith.
Staying Safe
To protect yourself from scams, fraud, or unsafe situations:
- Meet in person before committing.
- Inspect the space to make sure it’s what you expect.
- Avoid paying upfront unless you fully trust the other party.
- Use secure payment methods (cash in person, or trusted e-transfer) — avoid wire transfers or sketchy payment apps.
- Trust your gut — if it feels wrong, walk away.
Reporting Problems
If you see a suspicious ad, fake listing, or questionable activity, please report it using the Report button on the listing or contact us directly at support@spacebook.ca. We’ll investigate and remove offending content if necessary.
